Job summary

Askar Brands is seeking a driven Multi-Unit Manager to lead a network of locations in Alabama and beyond. You will build a positive culture, drive sales, and exceed profitability targets while developing restaurant teams.

You will manage labor and food costs to budget, ensure compliance with safety standards, and implement promotions across the network. Travel to various locations is required, and a strong food-safety background is essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading and writing in English required.
• Competent with Windows and Microsoft Office; P&L management experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel daily to multiple locations.
• Minimum 5 years restaurant management experience.
• Minimum 3 years multi-unit management experience.
• Food safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Create succession plans and execute them to ensure people stability.
• Manage employee files in compliance with requirements.
• Communicate clearly across all directions using various mediums.
• Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and results.
• Lead organizational training and talent development plans.
• Meet guest satisfaction targets and uphold a guest-first culture across the network.
• Ensure training aligns with Brand standards and local procedures.
• Manage network labor to budget to hit service and sales goals.
• Control network food costs to budget while achieving targets.
• Ensure inspections and plans close gaps promptly.
• Oversee costs and banking procedures at the network level.

Multi-Unit Managers

are responsible for managing and leading a network of locations inclusive of building a respectful and positive culture. They ensure each location and the network exceeds all sales, service, and profitability goals. They lead the resourcing and development of people and ensure that the Brand and our business are represented according to our vision and values.

Responsibilities Include

Team Environment

• Create succession plans then execute them to ensure people stability
• Manage employee files in compliance with all requirements
• Communicate accurately and effectively in all directions using various mediums

• Execute organizational training and talent development plans

Operational Excellence

• Meet Overall Satisfaction scores and lead a guest first culture in network
• Ensure training is effective and all Brand and local standards are met
• Manage network labor to budget ensuring service and sales goals are met
• Manage network food costs to budget meeting service and sales goals
• Ensure network meets minimum expectations on all assessments and lead the completion of plans to close all gaps in a timely manner

Profitability

• Ensure restaurants manage costs to budget also meeting all standards
• Ensure each restaurant manages cash and banking procedures to standard
• Accountable for successful implementation of promotions and new products
