Job summary

Independence School District is seeking a Technology Support Technician to assist district staff with Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktop computers, applications, and related technology. The role includes installation, testing, maintenance, and training across district labs, classrooms and offices.

The technician will work with Helpdesk and Network Operations to resolve issues, perform repairs, and provide prompt user assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong Windows desktop support in an Active Directory environment.
• Experience with MacOS, iOS, ChromeOS and Android preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, applications and peripherals.
• Install, configure and test computer systems and related equipment.
• Repair and maintain computers, peripherals, and networked devices as needed.
• Train staff on hardware and software to reduce recurring support needs.
• Coordinate with Helpdesk and Network Operations to resolve issues.
