The role offers independence with evaluation and repair tasks, while collaborating with the Technology department on projects and field support for faculty, staff and students. Strong troubleshooting, detail-orientation and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in IT or related field or equivalent training/experience.
• Minimum 3 years' IT support in a multi-user environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication; customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty, staff and students with daily computer needs for over 4,000 clients.
• Collaborate with technicians to support clients remotely and in the field.
• Install, repair and maintain microcomputer equipment and related components; install audiovisual equipment.
• Operate diagnostic and testing equipment; troubleshoot and service wired and wireless networks.
• Support Macintosh and Windows desktops/laptops, Microsoft Office, antivirus, and Google Apps for Education.
