The Building IT Support Technician serves as a customer support representative of the District Technology Department within assigned school buildings. The technician provides direct, responsive, and professional assistance to teachers, administrators, and other District employees who experience technology-related problems or need help using District equipment and approved applications.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of skills testing
• Current favorable BCII (State) and FBI (Federal) background checks
• Repack Enrollment through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce
• Ohio Auditor of State Fraud Reporting and Training
• Negative drug screen result

Responsibilities

• The Building IT Support Technician will primarily support Austintown Middle School, Austintown Fitch High School, Central Office, Food Services and Maintenance Departments.
• Building assignments may be adjusted by the District based on enrollment, staffing, technology projects, service demands, or other operational needs.
