Job summary

Yona is seeking a District Manager for Food Services to oversee dietary operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities. You will provide leadership, coaching, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards while delivering high-quality dining experiences for residents.

The role requires a degree in food service management or hospitality, supervision experience in long-term care, and CDM/CFPP credentials.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or in hospitality.
• Food service supervisory experience required; at least two years in long term care preferred.
• CDM/CFPP certification per ANFP.
• General business acumen.
• Public speaking skills.
• Excellent stress management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work all shifts as needed.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Meets with Food Services Directors regularly to coach and provide feedback on performance, and to assist in managers’ professional development.
• Leads quality dining programs that enhance the meal experience for residents.
• Ensures dining programs meet federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Maintains a clean, safe and sanitary dining operation.
• Responds to customer preferences to meet residents’ needs.
• Maintains contact with clients to ensure service satisfaction by Yona.
• Trains workers in dietary procedures and equipment operation.
• Supervises and evaluates the quality of work by Food Services Directors and Supervisors.
