Job summary

Yona is seeking a District Manager for its Food Services division to oversee the dietary department across multiple skilled nursing facilities. You will lead dining programs, coach directors, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

The role requires supervisory experience in food service within long-term care, a relevant degree, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality required.
• Food service supervisory experience preferred, especially in long-term care.
• Certification: CDM/CFPP or similar credential is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficient with Windows-based Office software (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop Food Services Directors and Supervisors.
• Lead quality dining programs to enhance resident meals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards for food service.
• Maintain sanitary, safe, and clean dining operations.
• Meet resident preferences and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Forecast and procure supplies and equipment; manage budgets.
• Hire, orient, and retain staffing for facilities in the district.
• Prepare reports and participate in facility meetings and committees.
