Yona Solutions in Illinois is seeking a Food Services District Manager to lead dietary operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities. You will coach managers, oversee dining programs, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, and maintain safety, cleanliness, and service quality.

The role involves staff training, budgeting, forecasting, and achieving facility goals while ensuring resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality.
• Two+ years of food service supervisory experience; long-term care preferred.
• CDM/CFPP certification per ANFP.
• General business acumen.
• Public speaking skills.
• Ability to work all shifts.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Meets with Food Services District Managers to coach and develop managers.
• Leads quality dining programs to enhance resident meals.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
• Maintains clean, safe, sanitary food service operations.
• Responds to resident preferences and maintains client satisfaction.
• Trains staff on dietary procedures and equipment operation.
• Supervises Food Services Directors and Supervisors.
• Maintains survey-ready, compliant departments across facilities.
• Forecasts supplies and equipment purchases.
• Recruits, interviews, and orients district Food Services Directors and Supervisors.
• Maintains staffing levels and CBAs knowledge.
• Attains financial goals with cost-effective programs.
• Keeps records for inventory, compliance, income/expenses, and personnel.
• Leads inter-department coordination and facility meetings.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and participates in committees.
• Reports monthly initiatives, goals, and accomplishments.
• Promotes resident satisfaction and service excellence.
• Performs Cook/Dietary Aide duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
