Job summary

Yona is seeking a Food Services Director to lead the dietary department in a long-term care facility. You will organize, plan, direct, and supervise staff, ensuring quality nutrition services for residents, visitors, and coworkers.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and ServSafe/CDM credentials are required; experience in long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Food service supervisory experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• ServSafe Manager certification, National Restaurant Association.
• CDM/CFPP credential per ANFP.
• Strong leadership and staff development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients dietary staff.
• Trains workers in procedures and equipment operation.
• Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises dietary department activities.
• Maintains records including inventory, budget, and personnel files.
• Ensures department operates within federal, state, and local regulations.
