Yona is seeking a Food Services Director to lead the dietary department in a long-term care facility. The role involves organizing and supervising staff, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining high resident satisfaction.

The candidate should have an Associate’s or higher degree in food service management or hospitality, and possess ServSafe certification with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality required.
• ServSafe Certification for Managers required.
• CDM/CFPP or equivalent credential preferred.
• Strong leadership and staff supervision capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients dietary staff.
• Trains workers in procedures and operation of equipment.
• Plans and supervises dietary department functions and staffing.
• Maintains records including inventory, compliance, income/expense, and personnel records.
• Promotes resident satisfaction and coordinates with other departments.
