Yona is seeking a Food Services Director to lead the dietary department in a long-term care setting. You will supervise staff, plan budgets, and ensure high-quality meal service for residents, visitors, and coworkers.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree or higher in food service management or hospitality, with supervisory and certification credentials, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality from an accredited institution.
• Food service supervisory experience; long term care preferred.
• Certifications: ServSafe for Managers; CDM/CFPP per ANFP.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients dietary staff.
• Trains staff on procedures and equipment operation.
• Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises dietary department activities.
• Manages staffing, budgets, records, and compliance to regulations.
• Maintains quality controls and supports resident satisfaction.
