Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a District Engineer to support the Midwest region’s operations by delivering operational excellence initiatives, improving plant and product availability, safety, scheduling and performance.

The role requires managing multiple projects across sites, leading cross-functional teams, analyzing data, and presenting findings to drive continuous improvement. Travel is frequent, with 20% mining sites and 80% office work in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical or mining engineering or construction management.
• 2+ years of project management or related experience.
• Experience analyzing aggregate operational performance data.
• Experience designing Tableau KPI reports.
• Experience modeling plant flows with AggFlow is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects across multiple sites within the division.
• Lead teams to improve processes for operational excellence.
• Analyze data, records and equipment histories for accurate tracking.
• Troubleshoot problems and implement corrective actions via root cause analysis.
• Present audit findings and suggest improvements to management.
