Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mining, geological, or civil engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in mine planning, preferably for aggregate or industrial mineral mining operations.
• Experience developing mine plans for surface and underground operations.
• Experience with exploration drilling and geologic interpretation.
• PE or PG license is preferred or can be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Perform or support mine planning for open pit and sand and gravel operations.
• Lead continuous improvement in mine planning with standards and best practices.
• Develop short, mid-range, and life-of-mine plans for quarries and mines.
• Analyze geological data and optimize extraction sequences and equipment use.
• Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for new mining projects.
• Monitor progress and address deviations with reconciliation plans.
• Collaborate with operations and support teams on plan execution.
• Provide creative solutions for site development and cost-effective options.
