Job summary

The Consumer Banker at First Financial Bank in the Indianapolis area will work with existing FFB clients and prospect for new FFB clients to deepen relationships by booking business and referring to internal partners such as Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banker, and Treasury Management.

Essential duties include opening accounts, maintenance, and teller duties as needed, plus active client engagement, timely follow-up, and adherence to compliance. Travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years client service experience in a retail environment.
• 2-3 years sales and service experience with success in achieving sales and service goals.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree and/or equivalent work experience in sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open accounts and perform maintenance as needed.
• Run Teller drawer as deemed by management.
• Support client engagement through active calling and conversations.
• Follow up to ensure timely client follow-through.
• Collaborate with internal partners to provide appropriate solutions.
• Adhere to compliance and risk management standards.
• Drive sales and referral goals through teamwork and client focus.
• Provide digital assistance and service for online banking.
• Travel between banking centers up to ~60 miles per day.
