Job summary

The General Manager III - Distribution at DHL Supply Chain leads warehouse operations across the network with a focus on safety, productivity, and cost control. You will develop and implement strategic processes, manage a team of operations managers, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring client satisfaction and strong P&L performance.

This leadership role requires 5+ years of managerial experience in warehousing or 3PL, a Bachelor's degree, and proven ability to optimize processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience in warehousing or distribution
• 2+ years in supply chain, warehousing or distribution
• Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics preferred
• Staff management experience is required
• P&L management experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• WMS experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping
• Develop strategies to optimize warehouse processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to policies
• Utilize WMS and technology to track inventory and performance
• Manage vendor relationships and site costs under the contract
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and inventory levels
• Maintain strong customer relationships and daily client contact
• Responsible for the site’s profit and loss (P&L) influence
• Present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews to customers
