Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I to oversee operations and transportation, with responsibility for warehouses and associated processes. The role may start at the General Manager I level based on experience, and offers leadership across a network of facilities in the US.

The position emphasizes strategic process development, team leadership, safety, and cost control, with broad exposure to customer relationships and performance reporting. A strong operations mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution.
• Experience managing P&L and vendor relationships preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Develop strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
• Lead and coach Operations Managers and staff, building a strong team culture.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance, maintaining a clean, efficient facility.
• Manage P&L and customer relationships, and present performance reports.
