Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I - Distribution to lead warehouse operations, drive strategic improvements, and ensure safe, efficient performance. You will manage a team of Operations Managers, oversee receiving, storage and shipping, and use WMS/technology to optimize metrics across the site.

The role carries P&L responsibility, client relations, and the need to present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews to customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in supply chain, warehousing or distribution.
• Experience in 3PL/contract logistics preferred.
• Staff management experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs and raise productivity.
• Lead and coach a team of Operations Managers and staff.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Utilize WMS, automation and technology to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships and site operations per the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance and inventory levels.
• Lead customer relationships and maintain daily contact for satisfaction.
• Responsible for site P&L and presenting MB R/QBR to customers.
