Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I - Distribution to oversee the warehouse operations and drive strategic process improvements across our facilities. You will lead a team of Operations Managers, manage vendor relationships, and ensure safety, productivity, and cost control in a high-volume distribution environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in supply chain, warehousing or distribution.
• Experience in 3PL/Contract Logistics preferred.
• Staff management experience required.
• P&L management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations incl. receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Develop strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs and boost productivity.
• Lead and coach a team of Operations Managers and staff, cultivating a strong culture.
• Ensure safety regulations and policies are followed; maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Utilize WMS and automation to track inventory and identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage vendor relationships and cost-effective services per the commercial agreement.
• Prepare reports on performance, inventory, and KPIs for decision-making.
• Maintain strong customer relationships with daily contact to ensure satisfaction.
• Own the site's P&L and drive value through customer relationships and efficiency.
• Prepare and present MB(MBR)/QBR) to customers leveraging team collaboration.
