Job summary

Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and drive efficient, safe operations within the distribution center. You will manage 20 to 30 associates, hire, evaluate, coach, and administer disciplinary actions while aligning team goals with the broader operations strategy.

The role emphasizes process optimization, inventory accuracy, and productivity. You will partner with the Operations Manager and Leadership to implement standardized processes and improve key metrics.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Ability to relocate
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Warehouse Management Systems experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing Process: Ensures operations procedures are followed and identifies changes to improve processes.
• Coaching and Developing Associates: Trains, coaches, evaluates hourly associates and handles staffing decisions.
• Drives Results: Maintains inventory accuracy and drives productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Business Planning: Plans staffing and monitors performance against business plan; analyzes metrics.
• Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager, Assistant General Manager or General Manager.
