Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. seeks a Distribution Center Operations Manager to lead Area Managers and drive excellence across inbound, put-to-light, ticketing, quality control, or outbound operations.

The role oversees staffing, safety, and delivery schedules to ensure products move efficiently from receiving to stores. Based in a high-volume DC environment, you will optimize warehouse systems, coordinate cross-functional teams, and foster continuous improvement while upholding Burlington safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management or related field.
• 4+ years' experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, distribution, warehouse, transportation and inventory.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Good reasoning, conflict-management, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with WMS, distribution technology and distribution equipment (conveyors, MHE).
• Ability to read and interpret policies and operate distribution center systems.
• Flexible schedule capability.
• Ability to access all DC areas, including Mezzanine platforms.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more; stand for extended periods.
• Bi-lingual a plus.

• Ensure operational excellence across all warehouse areas.
• Oversee efficient warehouse management systems operations.
• Ensure inventory is received and processed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized warehouse areas aligned with customer expectations.
• Manage staffing to ensure accurate and timely product movement.
• Design and implement cost-control systems amid evolving operations.
• Coach and train area managers and associates with on-floor and formal feedback.
• Design delivery schedules to maximize service efficiency.
• Maintain a safe workplace per Burlington safety policies.
