Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Area Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team of Associates. You will guide shipping/receiving to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency while adhering to company policies.

The role requires a background in high-volume distribution, leadership experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A flexible schedule and potential bilingual capabilities are advantageous for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Management/leadership experience in a distribution center setting.
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring and development initiatives.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Bi-lingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and lead Distribution Center Associates.
• Ensure shipping/receiving is performed safely, accurately and efficiently.
• Drive performance by analyzing productivity and accuracy data.
• Promote Burlington’s core values and foster an inclusive team environment.
• Provide coaching and development to team members regularly.
• Utilize warehouse systems and reporting tools to deliver results.
