Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Area Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team of associates. This role focuses on shipping/receiving, safety, and adherence to company policies for efficient merchandise flow to stores.

Weekend work is required (Friday-Sunday). The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of leadership in a high-volume distribution environment, with strong Excel/WMS skills and a track record of coaching and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred or combination of education and experience
• Experience in a high-volume distribution environment with leadership experience
• Experience implementing employee engagement and coaching initiatives
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Able to read and interpret policies to operate systems within the DC

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a team of DC associates
• Drive productivity, accuracy, and safety in shipping/receiving
• Leverage WMS and reporting tools to drive performance
• Provide feedback and coaching to team members and develop talent
