Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Operations Manager in Georgia to lead inbound, put-to-light, ticketing, quality control, or outbound operations. You will drive efficiencies, coach area managers, and ensure merchandise is received, processed, stored, packed, and shipped accurately.

The role requires 4+ years in high-volume distribution, strong supply chain knowledge, and experience with WMS and distribution tech. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, distribution, warehouse, transportation and inventory.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience with WMS, distribution technology, and distribution equipment (conveyors, MHE).
• Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures to operate systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including Mezzanine platforms.
• Ability to lift/move 40 lb+ and stand for extended periods.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational excellence in all warehouse areas.
• Oversee efficient operations of warehouse management systems.
• Ensure inventory is received and processed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organization of warehouse areas to present a proper customer-facing appearance.
• Staffing and efficiency planning in the DC to ensure timely movement of product.
• Design and implement cost-control systems in a changing business environment.
• Motivate, coach, and train area managers and associates with feedback.
• Design and control delivery schedules to maximize store service and efficiency.
• Maintain a safe workplace by following safety policies and reducing accidents.
