Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across inbound, put-to-light, ticketing, quality control, and outbound functions.

Lead area managers and ensure merchandise is received, stored, and shipped efficiently to stores. The role requires a bachelor’s degree preferred in supply chain or related field and 4+ years in a high-volume distribution setting, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or related field.
• 4+ years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, distribution, warehouse, transportation and inventory.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience with WMS, distribution technology, and distribution equipment (conveyors, MHE).

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational excellence in all warehouse areas and efficient use of warehouse management systems.
• Ensure staffing and efficiency levels to achieve accurate, timely movement and processing of product.
• Design and implement systems to control costs in a dynamic environment.
• Motivate, coach, and train area managers and staff with feedback.
• Design and manage delivery schedules to maximize store service and efficiency.
