Job summary

The Home Depot is hiring a DC Operations Manager to drive sucesso in a large distribution center, supervising inbound, warehouse, outbound, and transportation operations. You will work with the General Manager to optimize productivity, layout, and staffing while maintaining a union-free, safe workplace.

Minimum qualifications include 18+ years and legal work status in the United States; a bachelor’s in Operations Management or related field is preferred, plus proficiency in MS Outlook/Word/Excel

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+ and legal right to work in the United States.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Previous change management experience driving and communicating change.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to relocate for opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations across inbound, warehouse, outbound, transportation, and office functions.
• Support GM/AGM in evaluating methods, controls, and staffing for efficiency.
• Lead cost-to-serve reduction initiatives and optimize DC performance.
• Coach and develop associates with on-floor and formal evaluations.
• Uphold safety culture and monitor DC safety metrics.
• Collaborate with 3PL/transport partners to ensure performance.
