Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Operations Manager to lead a large distribution center in Charlotte, ensuring safe, efficient inbound, warehousing, outbound, and transportation operations. You will supervise multiple teams through supervisors, drive productivity, manage costs, and partner with the GM to set strategy.

You will coach associates, foster a union-free environment, uphold safety policies, and align operations with store expectations. Travel is limited; relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in leadership or supervision.
• Willing to relocate and able to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and change-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound, warehouse, outbound, and transportation operations for efficiency and safety.
• Evaluate methods and staffing to maximize productivity and align warehouse layout as needed.
• Lead cost-to-serve improvements and drive continuous efficiency gains.
• Coach and develop associates; maintain a union-free, employee-centered environment.
• Monitor safety, security, and operational metrics daily, weekly and monthly.
• Collaborate with GM/AGM and 3PL partners to achieve performance targets.
