Job summary

SanMar-Internal is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor to lead daily DC operations, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. The role involves coaching hourly staff, driving safety and quality, and coordinating with other departments to optimize productivity.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or equivalent experience, 4–6 years in warehousing, and 1–3 years in a supervisory role, with Spanish language skills considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years of warehouse experience.
• 1-3 years as a lead or supervisor.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels, and SKUs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate daily activities to achieve productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and job knowledge.
• Oversee distribution center operations to ensure timely processing and delivery of products.
• Provide day-to-day direction and development to hourly staff, including coaching and corrective actions.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals and provide ongoing feedback.
• Interview and hire new employees.
• Collaborate across departments to drive productivity.
• Analyze performance trends to develop solutions and policies.
• Foster an inclusive environment and respond to employee needs.
