Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Distribution Center Leader to manage daily DC operations and align them with company goals. You will provide input for planning, budgeting, reporting, fleet management, and inventory control while ensuring compliance and safety.

You will lead a team of managers and associates, drive process improvements, and partner with the DC Manager on strategic initiatives across warehousing and transportation to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in a related field.
• May require certification.
• Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide input for operating plans for warehouse and transportation operations.
• Develop department budgets with DC Manager.
• Recommend and implement process improvements.
• Analyze asset utilization and report results to DC Manager.
• Ensure safety and Hazmat compliance and protect staff, facility, and inventory.
• Manage performance of Assistant Manager and hourly associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Lead a team of professionals and/or supervise support staff.
