Job summary

TBC Corporation is seeking a Distribution Center Assistant Manager in Burien, WA, to lead day-to-day DC operations and ensure SOPs, KPIs, and financials are managed effectively. You will oversee shipping, receiving, inventory, and route management while driving safety and cost efficiency.

You will manage labor costs, report on KPIs, and collaborate with sales teams to meet SLAs, while coaching a team to deliver exceptional service and results.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, Business or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated management experience including leadership and motivational ability, time management and organizational skills, training, coaching and counseling preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of Lean methodology and proven success driving change in a dynamic environment.
• Safety 1st Mentality.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds and maintain a current driver’s license.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends.
• ERP system and Routing Software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all elements of distribution center operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and route management.
• Ensure SOPs are consistently applied to achieve operational performance indicators.
• Responsible for site financials including P&L management and labor costs.
• Manage and report on KPIs such as customer service, productivity, and delivery costs.
• Drive team accountability and performance, ensuring policy adherence.
• Direct subordinate team members to maximize RPM and KPI performance.
• Drive safety initiatives to ensure on-time delivery and accident reduction.
• Collaborate with Wholesale and Franchise teams to meet service level agreements.
