Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, invites applications for an Operations Manager – DDLC Support to lead day-to-day delivery operations across multiple workstreams and locations. You will drive planning, staffing, budgeting, and risk management to meet contract objectives and service levels.

The role requires 8+ years of IT/ops project leadership, experience with government contracts, subcontractor oversight, and a current secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8+ years of experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing IT or operations projects/programs, including multi-site or worldwide delivery with a dispersed workforce.
• Experience managing cost, schedule, and performance for Federal government contracts or large enterprise programs, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience managing subcontractors and vendor relationships, including contract compliance, delivery oversight, and issue resolution.
• Active PMI PMP or PgMP certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across IT, logistics, security, and other functions.
• Current secret security clearance and US residence.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for DDLC task areas, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to meet SLAs.
• Monitor baselines for cost, schedule, and performance; report to leadership and client.
• Coordinate with IT, logistics, security, and facilities for seamless operations.
• Manage subcontractor onboarding, scope, deliverables, and escalation.
• Implement standardized processes aligned with CMMI Level 3 and Agile practices.
• Lead risk management, root-cause analysis, and action logging.
• Develop and present operational reports and dashboards for leadership and client.
• Provide people leadership to a dispersed team, incl. performance management.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance for audits and reviews.
