Job summary

Fluke, a Fortive company, seeks a Business Development Manager for distributed energy to accelerate EV charging and solar storage market share in North America. The role blends strategic market development with hands-on selling to win new logos, expand product lines, and influence standards while collaborating with marketing, product, and channel partners.

You will drive multi-year growth, map executive stakeholders, and develop standardized workflows for EVSE, PV, and energy storage projects.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or key account management within distributed energy, EV infrastructure, solar, energy storage, electrical infrastructure, test & measurement, or related technical industries.
• Proven success driving new logo acquisition, account expansion, and multi-site or multi-year agreements in complex B2B environments.
• Strong understanding of distributed energy ecosystems including EV charging, solar generation, energy storage, and technician workflows.
• Experience engaging with CPOs, EVSE manufacturers/ installers, solar EPCs, O&M providers, utilities, and asset owners.

Responsibilities

• Expand Fluke’s presence across EV charging networks and solar markets through strategic planning.
• Identify and convert new logo opportunities across CPOs, EVSE manufacturers/installers, fleet operators, solar EPCs, and utilities.
• Develop multi-year growth strategies and map executive stakeholders to secure enterprise-wide adoption.
• Create standardized workflows for EVSE commissioning, PV installation, O&M field teams, and electrical contractors.
• Drive adoption of Fluke solutions across installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, and safety workflows.
• Influence standards and secure multi-site, multi-year agreements with operators and EPCs.
