Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field/ equivalent training or work experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience building large-scale systems.
• Experience managing production infrastructure with reliability and uptime.
• Experience with reliable distributed systems and engineering trade-offs.
• Experience solving complex issues requiring deep knowledge of architecture.
• Experience with testing, code reviews, design docs, debugging and operations of web apps.
• US Citizenship or Green Card holder

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain edge caching services handling a significant portion of API traffic.
• Collaborate with Engineering to triage bugs and address production issues across the stack.
• Write code to automate maintenance and reduce manual interventions.
• Review code, mentor peers, and be mentored in return.
• Design solutions to improve reliability and resilience of services.
• Contribute to technical design proposals and related reviews.
• participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents
