Job summary

First Mid Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Dispute Resolution Specialist I to support the Disputes team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role involves handling various dispute types, applying regulatory requirements, and assisting higher-level specialists as directed.

You will process daily reports, maintain case workloads, and provide quality customer service in an operations setting focused on accuracy and timeliness. Training on Regulation E and dispute rules is provided.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; training normally acquired through high school education or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years banking experience required.
• Regulation E error resolution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand dispute tracking software and complete required training.
• Process a high volume of dispute claims for debit card, ACH, ATM, and Zelle transactions.
• Research, resolve, and post adjustments within required timeframes.
