Job summary

First Mid Bank & Trust is seeking a Dispute Resolutions Specialist I in Beloit, WI to support the disputes team across debit, ACH, and card-related cases. You will process daily reports, manage case queues, and provide accurate, timely customer service in a regulated banking environment.

Ideal candidates have an associates degree (preferred), at least 2 years of banking experience, and familiarity with Regulation E; strong analytical and communication skills are essential for researching,

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; 2+ years of banking experience required.
• Regulation E error resolution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process daily dispute reports and maintain active case queues.
• Research, resolve, and post adjustments within required timeframes.
• Handle disputes for debit, ACH, ATM and card transactions.
• Conduct interviews to gather information for liability determinations.
• Support frontline staff and other departments on dispute processes.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with policies.
