The role supports training and collaborates with disputes staff, remaining compliant with Regulation E and Visa rules while delivering quality customer service in a fast-paced operations environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 2+ years banking experience required.
• Regulation E error resolution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process a high volume of dispute claims for debit card, ACH, ATM, and Zelle transactions.
• Research, resolve, and post adjustments within required timeframes.
• Handle initial stages of dispute and chargeback lifecycle, including case initiation and evidence gathering.
• Conduct phone interviews with customers, suspects, and external agencies to obtain information critical in determining First Mid's liability and risk exposure.
• Routinely use case management tools and reports to review and maintain caseloads for timely processing.
• Provide escalated research, troubleshooting and remediation of issues.
• Complete required Visa Basic Dispute Resolution training.
