Job summary

Vireo Health in Dundalk, MD is seeking a Dispensary Supervisor II to lead the daily store operations, manage inventory, and guide a team of Patient Care Coordinators and Customer Service reps under the General Manager.

The role emphasizes compliance, performance analysis, and process improvements, including staffing, training, audits, and secure, accurate transactions in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a college degree.
• Must have integrity and be reliable.
• 2+ years of retail leadership or management experience.
• Ability to effectively resolve heightened interactions with patients and staff.
• Excellent computer and technical skills, including experience with web browsers, retail POS systems, and credit card processing terminals.
• High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to create and review data metrics.
• Must be comfortable handling high-volume cash.
• Must be able to individually lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise level.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, nights and holidays a minimum 45 hours per week, and additional time as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations and inventory systems.
• Support the General Manager in all aspects of store management.
• Lead Patient Care Coordinators and Customer Service representatives as assigned by leadership.
• Hire, onboard, schedule, and coach team members to keep the store thriving.
• Provide constructive feedback and discipline when needed with a view to growth.
• Ensure memorable, consistent customer interactions and high service standards.
• Own product flow—manage orders, track inventory, and ensure shelves are stocked.
• Analyze sales trends and plan promotions to move the needle.
• Lead training programs and develop SOPs for the team.
• Run the store confidently in leadership's absence and adapt as needed.
