Job summary

Green Thumb in Massachusetts is seeking a Leader in Training to support daily dispensary operations, delivering memorable customer experiences and rotating through critical functions to build expertise in operations, experience, and people.

You will lead by example, supervise shifts, coach teammates, and help optimize the customer journey across in-store, drive-thru, curbside, and delivery channels. This role trains toward Assistant General Manager and offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of customer service or retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Cannabis experience preferred.
• Inventory control experience preferred.
• Ability to work varied shifts including mornings, days, nights and weekends.
• Reliable attendance and 21+ years of age.
• Valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Pass background checks and comply with Green Thumb policies.
• Solid understanding of cannabis laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support management in overseeing dispensary operations to ensure compliance with security, inventory, and local and state regulations.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels and communicate actions with management.
• Oversee the intake and verification of deliveries, transfers, and inventory management, ensuring accuracy within the vault.
• Lead team members to execute programs and regionalized in-store promotions.
• Demonstrate proper cash handling, including processing payments, discount application, and cash maintenance, and oversee team member execution.
• Provide coaching and feedback to help team members exceed performance and behavioral expectations.
• Help facilitate the store’s team member badging process with local and state agencies.
• Maintain scheduling of team members' shifts, meal breaks, and rest periods.
