Job summary

C3 Industries is seeking a Dispensary Keyholder to oversee store operations and actively drive sales by guiding customers through cannabis product selections that meet their needs and preferences. This full-time role supports management and ensures state compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will greet customers, verify IDs, meet sales targets, and help with POS operations, while fostering customer service excellence and accurate cash handling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience opening and closing a retail store or restaurant preferred.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling practices.
• Commitment to reaching KPIs regularly.
• Effective multi-tasker with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of state and local regulations preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to pass a background check and be 21+ years old.
• Must obtain and maintain required state licenses based on location.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and verify IDs.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and conversion goals.
• Assist customers with questions on state forms; update POS data.
• Ensure waiting room and sales floor are maintained and stocked.
• Educate customers on cannabis properties and genetics.
• Fill online orders quickly while ensuring compliance.
• Model strong sales and customer service for staff.
• Handle customer complaints with management support.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on regulations.
• Use POS and manage cash daily per policies.
• Open/close store, assist with product intake and inventory counts.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to improvements.
• Ensure compliance with policies, security, and schedules.
• Ensure staff adhere to policies and represent store when managers are absent.
• Train current and new employees on duties, POS, inventory, sales tactics.
• Assist with tip pooling as directed.
