Job summary

RPMGlobal is seeking a Customer Service Representative (Dispatcher) to handle incoming calls, provide pricing and availability, and convert quotes into sales orders. You will assign trucks, coordinate with drivers, and act as the liaison between drivers, quarries, jobs and customers, ensuring on-time deliveries and compliance with DOT regulations.

This fast-paced role requires accuracy and teamwork. You will use MS Office and industry tools to track orders, communicate updates, and resolve

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, customer service and dispatching preferred.
• Knowledge of aggregate products, delivery schedules.
• Understanding of DOT regulations and hours of service.
• Reading maps and routing knowledge for service areas.
• Strong communication, detail-oriented, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming calls and provide pricing and availability.
• Convert quotes into sales orders and assign trucks.
• Maintain communication with drivers for instructions and updates.
• Act as liaison among drivers, quarries/plants, jobs, and customers.
• Ensure trucking operations comply with transportation laws and safety regulations.
• Resolve delivery issues due to delays or weather.
• Cross-train within the Customer Service & Transportation Team and provide backup.
• Research quotes and orders and route new requests appropriately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
