Job summary

F.H. Furr Plumbing, Heating, A/C, and Electrical Inc. is seeking a driven Dispatcher to keep our residential service operations running smoothly.

You’ll coordinate schedules, prioritize calls, and ensure field technicians are where they need to be to deliver exceptional service. In this role, you’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to manage urgent requests, track progress, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, or a similar coordination role.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Strategically schedule and dispatch field technicians for service calls and projects.
• Prioritize incoming requests based on urgency, location, and technician availability.
• Communicate with customers to confirm appointments, provide updates, and deliver top‑tier service.
• Work closely with internal teams to allocate resources for emergency or high‑priority calls.
• Track technician progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of service calls, technician activity, and workflow changes.
