Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Knowledge of customer care, OS&D, billing, pricing, tracing and dispatching.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; AS400 experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures with minimal guidance.
• Capacity to work night/alternate schedules if needed.

Responsibilities

• Create freight manifests using applicable coding.
• Assist dispatcher with assigning pick-up and delivery drivers for local and road routes.
• Maintain city dispatch sheet and advise drivers on issues in freight pickup/delivery.
• Schedule, track, and bill freight; coordinate Line Haul activities.
