Job summary

Flagger Force is seeking an Operation Support Specialist to ensure client demand is met through effective dispatch and strong support to field teams. You will apply SOPs, coordinate with Field Leadership, and document incidents with clear escalation when needed.

You will work closely with internal systems and GPS-based dispatch, prioritizing safety and efficiency, while communicating clearly with clients and colleagues to ensure timely, high-quality service across the eastern United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Teams).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Prioritization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Problem solving and dispatching experience.
• Critical thinking and decision making skills.
• Active listening and interpersonal communication.
• Steel-toed boots or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply all SOPs to daily tasks.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with Field Leadership for best client experience.
• Capture and record incidents and escalate as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service with appropriate escalation techniques.
• Work quickly and accurately during storms and high-demand periods.
• Know office and field policies to assist staff.
• Monitor, capture, and share information using internal systems.
• Use GPS to monitor locations for optimal dispatch routes.
• Collaborate across teams to meet client needs safely and timely.
• Understand workzones, equipment, and staffing needs.
• Communicate essential information during Pre Construction.
• Prioritize safety in all decisions about client orders.
• Explain dispatch parameters: times, totals, criticality, status.
• Use creative problem-solving for multiple viable solutions.
• Relay client impacts: severity, notifications, documentation.
• Relate information to field crews, clients, and management.
• Know company footprint and mobilization areas.
