Job summary

Westaff is seeking a Dispatcher Coordinator in the Wrentham, MA area for an immediate start. This role requires coordinating shipments, communicating with drivers and customers, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

The position runs Monday–Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a training period on the afternoon shift (2:30 PM to 9:00 PM) for about one week. Pay rate is $18/hour, with standard weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations.
• Proficient computer skills and terminal usage.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch daily shipments and deliveries.
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve scheduling issues.
• Enter and update shipment information in company systems.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Respond to emails and phone inquiries professionally.
• Support daily warehouse and transportation operations.
