Job summary

Transdev in Perris, CA is seeking a Dispatcher to oversee road service via communication with Operators and to provide customer support for clients. The role involves monitoring trip performance, coordinating with carriers, and handling emergencies and incidents to ensure timely routes.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 3–5 years of dispatching experience, and strong verbal and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of dispatching experience.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Responsibilities

• Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, ensuring routes begin on time and monitoring incidents.
• Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips, including no-shows, cancellations, and missed trips.
• Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators, acting as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.
• Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.
• Perform other duties as required.
