Job summary

Transdev in Troy, OH is hiring a Dispatcher to oversee road service through communication with Operators and provide customer support to clients. We seek customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include monitoring trips, handling inquiries, and coordinating with emergency services when needed. Applicants should have 3–5 years of dispatching experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree preferred.
• 3–5 years' dispatching experience.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical; DOT 49 CFR Part 40 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance and on-time starts.
• Provide customer support for questions about trips including no shows, cancellations and missed trips.
• Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators and liaise with emergency services.
• Monitor daily service and respond to issues that impact customer service.
• Other duties as required.
