Part‑time position; Monday – Friday, 5 AM – 10 AM.

Responsibilities

Dispatch Assistants satisfy customers by providing consistent and reliable on‑time pick‑up and delivery of shipments.

• Assist the Service Center Manager, Operations Manager and/or supervisors
• Provide assistance to drivers
• Prepare bills of lading and delivery receipts
• Maintain excellent communication with external and internal customers as well as interline companies

May also be asked to assist with:

• Data entry
• Answering phones
• Freight reports
• Driver collect reports
• Billing and filing

Qualifications

• Knowledge and skill proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent keyboarding skills
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Available to work a second‑shift schedule
