Dayton Freight Lines in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Part-Time Dispatch Assistant for a 11:00 PM–4:00 AM shift Monday–Friday. The role focuses on on-time pickup and delivery, supporting managers and drivers, and maintaining clear communication with customers and interline partners.

Ideal candidates have strong Microsoft Office skills, fast typing, attention to detail, and excellent customer service, with a willingness to work a second shift and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Dispatch Assistants are responsible for satisfying customers by providing consistent and reliable on time pick-up and delivery of shipments.

• Assisting the Service Center Manager, Operations Manager and/or Supervisors
• Providing assistance to Drivers
• Preparing bills of lading and delivery receipts
