Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a hotel dishwasher to support cooks and service staff. The role involves transporting and cleaning utensils and maintaining a clean kitchen environment, with shifts that may vary due to 24/7 hotel operations.

Candidates should hold a current Food Handler Card and be able to operate the commercial dish machine while following health department rules and hotel policies.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain same in order to compliment guest experience.
• Ability to operate commercial kitchen dish machine in accordance with hotel and health department standards.
• Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products and processes within the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled ware for the dish machine and replace in designated storage areas.
• Wash all ware promptly and ensure proper dish machine operation.
• Clean kettles, pots and pans to support cooks’ work.
• Follow health standards and hotel cleaning protocols.
• Maintain clean floors and report unsafe conditions to management.
