Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking an attentive Kitchen Dishwasher to support cooks, bus persons, and servers by preparing and maintaining clean utensils and service ware for guest dining experiences. The role requires physical stamina and scrupulous adherence to health standards, with a 24/7 hotel operation impacting shift schedules.

Responsibilities include sorting, washing, cleaning kettles and pots, and general cleaning tasks while following all safety procedures and policies.

Qualifications

Hold a current Food Handler Card.
Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain it to compliment guest experience.
Ability to operate commercial kitchen dish machine per standards.
Ability to comprehend and apply labeling instructions for products used in the hotel.

Responsibilities

Sort soiled ware promptly for dish machine and replace in storage.
Wash all ware quickly and return to storage areas.
Keep dish machine clean and filled with water per standards.
Clean kettles, pots and pans so cooks can work efficiently.
Perform general cleaning tasks per supervisor’s instructions to health standards.
Maintain clean floors to prevent slips and falls.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures and safety rules.
Report unsafe conditions or injuries to management.
Assist other kitchen staff as needed.
