Driftwood Hospitality Management in Durham, NC, seeks a dish/kitchen helper to support cooks and servers by transporting and cleaning utensils and service ware, ensuring equipment is available for guests’ dining experience. The role operates under health standards and hotel procedures.

The position requires the ability to handle high activity, follow all safety rules, and assist other kitchen staff as needed in a 24/7 hotel environment.

Competenze

• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain it to compliment guest experience.
• Ability to operate a commercial kitchen dish machine per hotel and health standards.
• Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions.

Mansioni

• Sort soiled ware and wash it promptly to keep dish area flowing.
• Keep the dish machine clean and filled with water.
• Clean kettles, skillets, pots and pans promptly to support cooks.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks to meet health standards.
• Clean and dry floors to prevent slip hazards.
• Separate linen from other debris.
• Follow all safety and security procedures and rules.
• Report unsafe conditions and accidents to management.
• Maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as required.
• Assist other kitchen personnel when needed.
• Perform related duties as requested by management.
