Job summary

O’Charley’s is seeking a Dish Operator to support kitchen operations by running the dish machine, washing and storing wares, and keeping the dishroom clean and organized. You will work closely with Line Cooks to maintain a smooth, safe, and efficient food service environment.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following established sanitation and chemical-use procedures to ensure guest satisfaction and high standards.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for long periods and move around the kitchen
• Comfort with lifting up to 50 pounds
• Able to follow established dishwashing procedures and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the dish machine, report defects
• Wash and store dishes and silverware per procedures
• Maintain clean and organized dishroom and storage areas
• Work as a team with Line Cooks to keep kitchen clean and efficient
• Perform other duties as assigned by a Manager
